"Defining the Next Economy" was the theme of the Michigan IT Summit 2001 Tuesday, May 8 at the COBO Center in Detroit. The conference theme underscores Michigan's role in melding new technologies and communications with the strengths and power of the state's manufacturing base.
 
  Overview
 
The IT Summit, Michigan's only statewide information technology conference, is one of the nation's prime venues for showcasing new developments and business models for the IT industry. The Summit attracts national and state leading industry speakers, panelists and exhibitors. It is hosted by i-TE@M, the Information Technology Association of Michigan.
