Introduction
Three Way
Monte is a cutting-edge, interactive, Internet film. Three Way Monte
is the first of its kind.
Monte was
independently produced by five students in the dMAT
program in the Telecommunication
Department at Michigan
State University. The film was created as a project for TC 842:
Message Design, Development and Project Management, and TC 491: Intro
to Webcasting.
The Monte
teamRyan, Pete, Charles, Marcus, and Kellywanted to take
filmmaking to the next dimension. With digital technology completely
revolutionizing today's filmaking process, the team of five wanted to
create something very innovative: an interactive film, producedfrom
beginning to endwith the explicit intent of delivery via the Internet.
Making
Monte was
created over the span of less than four months during Spring Semester
2001. Since the making time was so compressed, much of the production
stages overlapped significantly.
