Rationales, principles, processes and pedagogies for serious game design. Applications of serious game genres and simulations. Funding and distribution.
TC 831 Serious Game Theories
(3 credits, fall semester)
Theories and research on effects of serious games on cognition, affect, engagement, learning and persuasion. Creating effective serious games.
Plus one of the following courses:

Once accepted, you can begin taking the certificate courses. Upon completion of the requirements, the student should contact Cliff Lampe, the Director of Graduate Studies to request their certification of completion.
